• Alguronic Acid™ is a unique, proprietary family of polysaccharides extracted from algae in a process developed by Solazyme. These algal polysaccharides are exosaccharides that microalgae produce to protect themselves from environmental insults, such as UV exposure, changes in extremes of temperature, or desiccation (drying out). Data suggest Alguronic Acid™ prevents DNA damage and stimulates collagen and elastin production. Alguronic Acid™ can be delivered in personal care formulations either directly or in Filling Spheres prepared in anhydrous solution. When used in skin care applications, Alguronic Acid™ delivers longer-term protective benefits, as well as immediate, visible biophysical benefits. Golden Chlorella™ is manufactured in the USA in a quality-controlled, food-grade GMP environment. It is non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, Kosher and Halal. It is rich in algal micronutrients including heart-healthy (oleic) oils, highly-digestible protein, carotenoids, sterols, tocotrienols, and phospholipids.
