Peppercom, Inc. to manage strategic communications and media relations

South San Francisco, Calif – Nov. 28, 2007 – Solazyme, a synthetic biology company pioneering the sustainable bioproduction of fuels, industrial oleochemicals, and health/wellness ingredients from marine microbes, today announced it has retained Peppercom, a strategic communications agency with offices in New York, San Francisco and London, to establish brand positioning and execute a thought-leadership campaign. Peppercom will work with Solazyme on a national media and analyst relations program, and government and influencer outreach.

Solazyme will work with GreenPepper, Peppercom’s practice area devoted to developing sustainability strategies.
